\"2013<\/a>At long last I got to wear my dearly purchased white dress!<\/p>\n

Walking into the White Dinner After Party felt sort of like walking into a wedding reception! You very rarely see so much white in one place! It looked\u2026oddly heavenly!<\/p>\n

This will come as no surprise to anyone who knows me even remotely well \u2013 but even though I love<\/i> my white cocktail dress (has all the hallmarks of a \u2018magic\u2019 dress that one does, I suspect it will be added to my \u2018this dress goes with me on every contract no matter what\u2019 list) \u2013 my pride and joy tonight wasn\u2019t the dress.<\/p>\n

It was the shoes.<\/p>\n

Seriously! You have white <\/span>capezios?!<\/i><\/p>\n

Yup.<\/i><\/p>\n

Do you know how hard those are to find??<\/i><\/p>\n

*grin* yup<\/i><\/p>\n

I have worn my white capezio character shoes all of three times since I bought them, including tonight. They\u2019re almost impossible to find. They\u2019re still so new that they pinch the backs of my heels for the first few hours as even after years of owning them they\u2019re not completely broken in. But they are killer<\/i> good for the dance floor because they still have the original leather soles. Technically the dance hosts onboard are not supposed to dance with us, they\u2019re supposed to be completely dedicated to dancing with the guests; usually I put my foot down and say \u2018no I\u2019m sorry I can\u2019t\u2019\u2026but I happened to know that this particular gentleman can<\/i> actually lead. And I had on a pretty dress and and\u2026and I was wearing shoes that he could literally swivel me and I would do the twist without having to take a step..(trust me, that\u2019s a really cool thing to be able to do).<\/p>\n

Yeah\u2026<\/p>\n

You\u2019re just full of surprises aren\u2019t you?<\/i><\/p>\n

So I\u2019ve been told\u2026<\/i><\/p>\n

But it was just once dance. I didn\u2019t dare for more than that because both of us could potentially have gotten in trouble.<\/p>\n

Unfortunately the sudden onslaught of a killer headache prevented me from taking in the rest of the evening. When you start seeing those nasty jags of light in front of your eyes and even the dim lights of the ballroom hurt it\u2019s time to get yourself back to your cabin and take an aspirin\u2026but by that point the party was winding down anyway.<\/p>\n

Y\u2019know they say that white is supposed to be the symbol of purity\u2026<\/p>\n
