Five shifts in a few weeks has me seriously shaking off some rust. I&#8217;m ashamed to say I&#8217;m out of practice&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>And I\u2019d forgotten just how busy downtown can get.<\/p>\n<p>When Amras tagged along with me last week, he nearly had to play bouncer to keep me out of the way of at least one drunken stag party (me+ disrespectful drunks = baaaaad combo), and we had to bypass one stop altogether because it really wasn\u2019t worth the trouble. Thankfully there are plenty of alternate routes in place so nothing is insurmountable.<\/p>\n<p>But the craziness of downtown on a Saturday night does make me a little more self-conscious when I\u2019m donning my blacks! I\u2019m really little, but at least I can do my best to <em>look<\/em> the part\u2026<\/p>\n<p>Heh \u201cI ain\u2019t afraid of no ghost\u201d<\/p>\n<p>This is one of my last shifts for GW before I head back out to the line in two weeks. Since I\u2019ve had such a long vacation my tour boss has been wonderful about finding me work, and to be honest it\u2019s somewhat saved me as when I\u2019m on vacation I\u2019m essentially unemployed!<\/p>\n<p>So, anyone who happens to be interested in some of the dark, creepy and ever so slightly unnerving back alleys and dark histories of my sugar n\u2019 spice n\u2019 everything nice li\u2019l home town is welcome to come join me!<\/p>\n<p>Just\u2026check with me after, so I can make sure nothing follows you home\u2026.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>It\u2019s been quite a while since I was home for the high season of Ghost Walks.
