In actual real life, I would never raise a hand to anyone (probably because I know I\u2019m not exactly strong, nor particularly brave and I\u2019d probably just wind up getting myself knocked unconscious). But put me in a fantasy realm where it\u2019s all graphics and pixels and no one is actually being<\/em> bloodied?<\/p>\n

It\u2019s been a long time since I\u2019ve been a gamer, and even when I used to play as a kid, I was never the world\u2019s best at it, but I did used to play a lot with my Dad back in the day, and eventually I got good enough that I could wean myself off the invincibility cheat codes. But that was nigh on 15 years ago, and I\u2019ve not really picked up a shoot \u2018em up game since. So being introduced to C.O.D resulted in a lot of embarrassment at first, I mean 15 years? That\u2019s a lot<\/em> of rust to knock off\u2026until somewhere around midnight last night I started to find my feel with the controls\u2026<\/p>\n

You little rat! Where the hell did you go?!<\/em><\/p>\n

Told you big brother, the rat can run\u2026she can\u2019t always shoot, but she can sure as hell run<\/em><\/p>\n

Yeah, no kidding\u2026<\/em><\/p>\n

See, much like in life, I can\u2019t always hit hard, but once I figure out the lay of the land? I can run like the hounds of hell are on my heels. So your game indicator will tell you I\u2019m one place and by the time you get there I\u2019m already gone. Which, if I\u2019m playing my cards right (and yes, if luck is on my side), allows me to come around behind you\u2026<\/p>\n
