\"lovers_walk_by_juli_snowwhite-d7igb9a\"<\/a>At somewhere around 11:15 last night, Amras and I looked at each other from our neighbouring computer tables, looked at Predator across the room, and then swept our gaze over the new arrivals: Two guys (one of who plays online and could wipe the floor with all of us) and one girl. Three new players added to what \u2013 until recently \u2013 had been a very private little world.<\/p>\n

Ready?<\/em><\/p>\n

Predator always forgets to mention to new recruits that Amras and I have a tendency to team up together during COD play, even in a free-for-all game, where it really is no holds barred, we pretty much refuse to fire on each other (unless it\u2019s by accident, like last night when I pretty much tripped over him). That said, since neither Amras or I (most definitely not me) are the best players yet \u2013 I doubt anyone really notices, unless they see me run right past him and not shoot \u2013 which could just as easily be me being blind. Predator notices of course, but that\u2019s because Predator tends to notice everything.<\/p>\n

Anyway, this is the first time we\u2019d played with more than just the three of us. And when we looked at what map was loading we weren\u2019t sure whether to laugh or weep.<\/p>\n

Showdown? Seriously? This is going to be a massacre in free for all!<\/em><\/p>\n

I know right!<\/em><\/p>\n

And \u2013 as expected \u2013 it was. The showdown map is pretty much an open courtyard ringed by two sets of balconies, really not much in the way of cover. So that\u2019s when you pull out all the random tricks you almost forgot you had\u2026<\/p>\n

How did you do that? I already downed you! <\/em><\/p>\n

Let\u2019s just say there\u2019s a perk I earned that I am never giving up!<\/em><\/p>\n

Dude, she has last stand! You can down her and she\u2019ll totally take you with her!<\/em><\/p>\n

There is one of my co-workers who has been bragging for days now that he\u2019s the most bestest Call of Duty Player ever, but he\u2019s yet to actually turn up for a game. I am utterly thinking that he talks the talk but can\u2019t walk the walk, but I\u2019m sure one of these days he\u2019ll actually turn up.<\/p>\n
