I am, to be honest unsure how I feel about this.<\/p>\n<p>Oh relax, I don\u2019t mean a <em>romantic<\/em> admirer! (yeash, people!). No, I mean\u2026a kid. There\u2019s only one on board, and she\u2019s lonely and bored. It\u2019s Kitkat\u2019s job to actually work with the kids, so it\u2019s expected that she\u2019s attached herself there, but me? I think this is a proxy thing because I hang out with KitKat so she just kind of got used to having me around\u2026.<\/p>\n<p>And, I suppose, if you look at my life from the outside (hell, even from the inside if I\u2019m honest with myself) there\u2019s a lot to envy about it. The job, the friends, the travel, possibly even the pretty dresses. In a lot of ways I really am Cinderella, and I even get to go to the ball once in a while.<\/p>\n<p>But\u2026a role model? I\u2019m so not so sure about that. Especially not in a work context, I mean I\u2019m not hired to work with the kids, so there\u2019s only so much I am able to do without risking crossing a line into a department that\u2019s not mine (not that KitKat would mind, it\u2019s a policy thing though).<\/p>\n<p>But me\u2026.a role model? Me?<\/p>\n<p>Surely there\u2019s got to be <em>someone<\/em> more suitable for accidentally mentoring an awkward thirteen year old?<\/p>\n<p>If anyone needs me, I\u2019ll be over here\u2026hiding.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I seem to have acquired an admirer.
