I have never been good with heat. This is \u2013 I\u2019m sure by this point \u2013 a well-known fact. It begs the question why on earth I would choose to go on contract in Brazil. I think I might have blocked out the fact that every ship that comes to this area ends up baking. It seems the A\/C is never quite cool enough.<\/p>\n
I keep my room almost as cold as an ice box, but I\u2019m one of the lucky ones, much of B-deck has barely functioning air conditioning, which is unpleasant to say the least.<\/p>\n
So, until things cool off a bit, I\u2019m spending most of my breaks in my little private refrigerator; trying (and failing) to catch up on my sleep.<\/p>\n
