A Canadian girl who never has adjusted to warm climates \u2013 despite her job that puts her in contact with them on a pretty constant basis \u2013 does not really have much opportunity to go outside in Brazil\u2026or anywhere in South America to be honest.<\/p>\n
I could<\/em> go out, there is literally nothing stopping me, I have plenty of time off each day and my class numbers are very light in port to begin with \u2013 but I take one look at that sun beating down outside and go \u201cnope, not unless I\u2019m in Hawaii, only for Hawaii will I brave that heat\u201d.<\/p>\n Might be water girl, but I guess that doesn\u2019t make me a beach baby.<\/p>\n So I stay in, and put on a program that I don\u2019t really have to focus on (right now it\u2019s the X-Files, and by the way how was there ever any doubt that Mulder and Scully were totally head over heels for each other? Is this not completely<\/em> obvious from maybe\u2026the second episode? Honestly). And I sew\u2026this has led to my being nearly half finished my latest embroidery project despite having only been on the ship just over two weeks. Considering that one large pattern used to take me a full year, and this one is nearly half done in the space of two contracts\u2026I suppose I am getting more skilled with my needle.
