And then there are the days when the job is absolutely everything<\/em> that the regular people think it is\u2026<\/p>\n

We were in Curasco, with it\u2019s (very) warm sun and brilliant colours, plus the swinging bridge. Usually we dock practically in the middle of town, but this time we were about a fifteen minute walk outside of it, which didn\u2019t really bother either Amras or I, as it was a nice walk along the water and breeze made the heat a little more bearable. We had only one real primary purpose (and as usual, not that much in the way of time) and that was lunch, but we did manage a little bit of window shopping before reaching what probably qualifies as the town square.<\/p>\n

So, eat here with all the people? Or walk further and go to the coast?<\/em><\/p>\n

Definitely coast.<\/em><\/p>\n

I\u2019m not exactly sure how Amras developed his keen sense of being able to locate the perfect restaurant, but he definitely seems to have one. Off the beaten path, tucked into a corner in what looked like a former cigar factory, was a perfect sea-side Italian caf\u00e9 \u2013 and we were the only ones there. Perfectly cooked pasta, crisp rose, and crashing waves that were within arms reach\u2026in those circumstances? With the right person? Everything tastes right, everything smells right, everything is<\/em> right.<\/p>\n

Life\u2026life is just right\u2026<\/p>\n
